​Michaela is from the Delta and grew up sitting around the kitchen table snapping beans and shelling peas from the garden. Now, she wants to help build a world in which we take care of each other, so she has committed to caring for her community by growing food and stewarding the land. Through cultivator, her goal is to learn to farm collaboratively and learn to listen to the land and herself.
